I lost $350,000 chasing get-rich-quick schemes between 2020-2024.

Fortwone.com is my response.

A disciplined approach to investing in companies I believe that can survive economic downturns and yet give outsized returns potential. Ever since the loss, it has been a road to recovery. With my goal to eventually start a fund that can manage money at a larger scale whether mine or OPM, I plan to be diligent about where I invest and how I invest. I am not building this site to give investment advice to anyone. Frankly, I don't think I can especially with the last few years!

This is my effort to hold myself accountable to what I want to build. No better way than to publicly do it right? I plan to post a monthly update right here on my website under the "Letters" section - the wins, the losses and lessons learned.

Here are my current holdings as of October 2025:

  1. ELMD (Electromed) - Medical devices pertaining to pulmonary care.

  2. CXDO (Crexendo Inc.) - Cloud communications platform software.

  3. MAMA (Mama's Creations) - Fresh deli-prepared foods.

  4. CPRX (Catalyst Pharmaceuticals Inc.) - Rare disease research and commercialization.

  5. BRZE (Braze Inc.) - Customer engagement platform.

  6. AFYA (Afya Limited) - Medical education in Brazil.

  7. Cash (Waiting for better opportunities).

I have a few more portfolio positions identified but they aren't deployable just yet. Cash constitutes majority of my holdings. I plan to opportunistically invest into some of these companies over time.
